Growing up fishing the waters of the Gulf of America, Captain Kyle Applefield has become an expert of inshore and offshore fishing in the Tampa Bay Area. He was raised on commercial and charter fishing through his family who have been in the industry as native Floridians for three generations.
Since returning from four years of traveling throughout Central America and the waters of the Caribbean working as a mate of a private sport fishing boat, Captain Kyle discovered his passion to put people on fish and help make memories that last a lifetime. Loaded Down Sport Fishing started business in 2012 and has grown and gained notoriety ever since. It is hard to find a better person to put you on the fish. Also passionate about competing, Kyle has become one of the areas most accomplished tournament captains with many top finishes every year locally and wins in major tournaments all over the state.
